Dan Morehead, founder of Pantera Capital, who earlier predicted that Bitcoin would reach $120,000 in 2025, now believes it could double over the next year, possibly surpassing $230,000. 

Morehead’s conviction is based on long-term supply constraints (like halving cycles), increasing institutional demand, and regulatory environments that are growing more favorable. He also expects altcoins to outperform Bitcoin in many cases during this next phase. 

He’s not ignoring risks: he points to potential regulatory overreach or macro headwinds (rates, inflation) that could interfere with strong growth. But overall, his forecast is bullish.
